IV Ranbir Singh Memorial Taekwondo & Skating Tournament was organized at St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar. It was an Interschool Competition in which 300 students from 20 schools participated. The competition was inaugurated on 16th Dec. 2013 by Director Dr. Sh. Sudhir Kumar Singh and declared the opening of the tournament. It was a six-days event categorized according to ‘Weight and Age’ of the participants. There were different groups for boys and girls as well.

In Taekwondo Competition from 20 to 30 kg in the categories of boys of St. Edmund's School Divyanshu, Lakshay and Aditya Saini won the Gold Medal while Yaksham of Step-by-Step School, Rushank of Indo Bharat School and Rajesh of Beetles School won the Silver Medal. On the other hand Mohit Verma of MPS won the Gold Medal, Rishiraj of SRN International School bagged Silver and Harinder of Indo Bharat School won the Bronze Medal in 35kg category. In 20 to 45 kg the categories of Girls Meetu Meharwal of St. Edmund's School, Anjali Meena, Neha Meena, Kajal Roy of Indo Bharat School, Lucky Kumari of Beetels School and Divya Sharma of Neerja Modi School won the Gold Medal, Silver Medal was also won by Navya of St. Edmund's School, Nikita, Komal Choudhary and Purva of Indo Bharat School, Palak Sharma of Beetles School, Preksha Bajaj of MGPS and Suhani of Sanskar School. Bronze Medal was also won by Jahanvi and Himanshi of St. Edmund's School, Chetnya of Vidhya Ashram School, Dristhi and Arpita Gupta of Sadhu Vaswani School, Aditi Meena of MPS and Nisha of Indo Bharat School. In Skating Competition from age group 6 to 16 yrs. of girls category Neetu Maharwal of St. Edmund's School, Vrinda of SV Public School, Aditi & Jhanvi of Vidhya Asharm, Krisha and Charnal Yadav won the Gold Medal and on the other hand under the age group of 6 to 19 yrs. boys categories Aarav and Dhruv Raj of Sanskar School, Uday Sharma and Vikas Meena of Beetles School, Rohit, Ankit and Saurabh Chouhan of Malviya Convent School won the Gold Medal. The school administration took care for the general rules and Management of the various events. Winners of various categories were awarded with Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals.

Trophies were given to the best player (Boy & Girl) of the tournament. Teams of various schools were awarded with trophies. In the Closing Ceremony Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Singh gave away the prizes to winners and highlighted the importance of games and Taekwondo & Skating for the development of social and emotional skills in student life.

Principal also proposed vote of thanks to the Participants and Coaches of various teams and encouraged the children with her blessing words. Director Dr. Sh. Sudhir Kumar Singh, Dy. Director Mr. Kapil Singh & Director of Education Mrs. Meena Singh also congratulated the winners with their blessings.

St. Edmund’s School once again made a mark by showcasing its Annual Event with the theme “Hall of Fame”. The event revolved round the dance performances of legendary artists of all times throughout the world. The performances were varied. It started from Pandit Birju Maharaj and ended with a tribute to ‘King of Pop’, Michael Jackson. Shri Ashok Parnami M.L.A, Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur was the Chief Guest, Professor Smt. Maya Rani Tak Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Rajasthan presided over the function. The Event started with garlanding of Lord Ganesha, lighting up of lamp and paying tribute to the founder of the School, Late Shri Ranbir Singh Ji.

Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Pooja Singh read the Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the school academics and sports. The Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the meritorious students of 2012-13.

Under the Exchange the programme held by British Council member team reach in St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur last week on their arrival they were given a warm welcome at school. During their stay the attended various classes to observe the teaching method and also interacted with the students and teachers. The main aim of both the schools is to work successfully on the second project related to Indian Education Philosophy – career options for which they had a conversation with the management and concerned faculties. An open conversation was held between students, teachers and parents to know their views about different career options. They appreciated the students for the creativity which was seen by them in ‘Wall Magazines’ and they also participated in various ‘Club Activities’ which was remarkable. They also visited several factories with Commerce Faculty and also different historical places.

To make this programme more successful on the last day Dr. Mrs. Pooja Singh and Academic Director Mrs. Meena Singh in her speech thanked the delegation and said that we have formal friendship through lots of talking and discussions because of which we have reached a better understanding which is a key of success for our relations. On the last day Director Dr. Sudhir Kumar Singh and Deputy Director Mr. Kapil Singh presented a Memento on the behalf of Edmund’s Family.
