The recently concluded Jaipur Junior Athletics Championship held at Rajasthan University witnessed an outstanding performance by the young athletes of St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar. The school's athletes clinched an impressive total of 21 medals, comprising 3 gold, 6 silver, and 12 bronze medals.
The championship, held on the 19th and 20th of August, showcased the exceptional athletic prowess of St. Edmund's School students. The winners were celebrated for their dedication, determination, and hard work that led to their remarkable achievements.

Among the standout achievements, Jhankaar stood out by clinching the gold medal in the hammer throw event, showcasing unparalleled strength and precision. Prachi's exceptional skills shone through in both the hammer throw and javelin throw events, where she earned a silver medal in the former and a bronze medal in the latter. Kaushika's versatility was on full display as she claimed bronze in javelin throw and silver in shotput, underscoring her prowess in multiple disciplines. Aardhya's dominance was evident as she secured the gold medal in the hammer throw and further exhibited her prowess with a bronze medal in discus throw.
The outstanding performance by these athletes has not gone unnoticed. Nine of the school's athletes have been selected to represent Rajasthan in the upcoming State Junior Athletics Championship, scheduled to be held in Kota on September 9th and 10th, 2023.
