Q. 1 When does the academic year begin at St. Edmund’s School?
Ans: The academic session starts on 1st April every year and continue till 31st March for the subsequent year. Summer vacations are held every year in the month of May and June. The school resumes in full flow from July onwards.
 
Q. 2 What is the eligibility criterion for admission to the school?
Ans: The school invites application from the students for various classes from all walks of life. No discrimination in any form is done. As we firmly believe in “Education for one and All”. Entrance exams are mandatory for classes I and above. Direct admissions are granted to Pre-Primary section. There are no Direct admissions to classes X an XII except in case of transfer or shifting of house somewhere near the school. The admission granted is provisional and is only confirmed after the approval of Board.
 
Q. 3 How can I register my ward’s name for admission?
Ans: You can download the registration form from the website or can collect it from the school campus. The form should be completed and submitted along with a transfer certificate and the report card of the previous year.
 
Q. 4 What are the documents required for the admission?
Ans: Following documents are required to be submitted:
1. Filled in application for registration and admission form.
2. 4 passport sized photographs.
3. Report Card/Books of the previous year.
4. Transfer Certificate/Birth Certificate whichever is applicable. The T.C should be countersigned by the concerned authority of the educational Board. For students coming from abroad, T.C should be countersigned by the Consulate of the concerning Embassy. 5. Character Certificate duly signed by the Principal of previous school.
6. Registration/Enrolment Number, in case the admission is sought directly in X and XII std. Any other relevant document required by the office.
 
Q. 5 What are the streams of studies offered to the students studying at Saint Edmund’s School?
Ans: The school offers Science, Commerce and Humanities streams at the Senior Secondary level.
 
Q. 6 What are the subjects of study for different streams?
Ans: For Science stream the school offers English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Mathematics & Physical Education. For Commerce streams the subjects offered are English, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Designing, Painting, Mathematics & Physical Education.

Ans: Yes, we encourage our students to converse in English due importance is also given to French, German and Hindi.

Ans: Saint Edmund’s School is using an ERP which is based online as well as has its own Mobile App – Scholar's ERP - through which parents can keep a track of their kid’s activities by simply logging in to the ID provided by the school. All the teacher’s remarks and progress reports are available online. Parents are also informed regularly about their ward’s progress through the school diary. They can also meet the teachers at the PTMs or on any working Saturday.
 
Q. 13 Are any there any languages taught in the school?
Ans: Yes, we have Language Development Labs where English, Hindi, French and German are taught to the students.
