The promising students of St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar have taken a unique initiative by creating the first graphic novel on the French Revolution. With the continuous support of the School Deputy Director Mr Kapil Singh, Joint director Dr Pooja Singh and School Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia, staff and students all this was made possible. Students have demonstrated their intellectual prowess by creating a graphic novel of the French Revolution, embodying unimaginable work.
The team have tried to develop a smart learning tool which will not only help the students to fight the phobia of history but it will open doors for quick learning. The main motive was to provide maximum knowledge in a minimalistic but interesting manner.
The magnificent book was released at the History Festival organized by the Sawai Mansingh Museum II
The graphic novel was launched by Retd General Puri an author of Kargil turning the tide and Mr Sudhir Mathur, a connoisseur of crafts and culture, committed to initiating social impact, a keen promoter of young talent & a humanist.
The Central Board of Secondary Education had long strived to create graphic material on the creation of graphic novels, the students of St Edmund’s exemplify their efforts.
Mr Sandeep Sethi JI(Director Education, M.S.M.S. II, Museum Trust) also praised the efforts of the students and said that the result of the hard work of the students is that today the first graphic comic book has been prepared for which the whole school administration deserves appreciation.
The Director of the school, Dr Sudhir Kumar Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia, congratulated all the members of the Comics Books Advisory Committee for their excellent work.

More than 66 contestants from eighteen teams participated in the competition. The competition was divided into three categories - Junior, Middle and Senior
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp after which the students presented their robotic talent to the members of the jury according to their intellectual capacity in various categories.
The theme of the competition was BOT Olympiad in which all the contestants showcased their talent
Various Schools like St Edmund's School Jawahar Nagar, Tagore Public School, Cambridge Court High School, Subodh Public School, St Mary's Convent School, SV Public School etc. were selected and will get a golden opportunity to show their skills in the national level competition to be held in Delhi on 14 and 15 December.
Mr Manish Dhameja, Director, CNC Infotech, addressed that St. Edmunds School is the first Atal Tinkering Lab School in Rajasthan.
School principal, Mrs Anu Bhatia, Director of CNC Robotics, Mr Manish Dhemeja, honoured the students of selected schools by giving them medals and citations.
At the end of the program, the principal of the school, Mrs Anu Bhatia, congratulated all the winning teams for their excellent performance and said this type of event provides a platform for children to enhance their art, which definitely brings out the talent of children.
Honi Arora, a class VIII student of St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar brought laurels to the school by grabbing 5th position in 9th National school chess championship 2019, held at Aurangabad. This event was a special milestone for all the 1000 chess masters present there competing with each other.

St.Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated its annual function with great cheer, on Thursday, 21 Nov 2019 at Birla Auditorium. Mr Pawan Arora, IAS Commissioner Rajasthan Housing Board Jaipur, presided over the event. Mrs Pratibha Arora, a former staff member at St Edmund’s School, was also present.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Hon’ble chief guest Mr Pawan Arora and Ravi Setia secretary St Edmund’s educational society escorted by School joint director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia. This was followed by a bouquet presentation by respected Director Dr Sudhir Singh and academic director Mrs Meena Singh.
The program was well anchored by School students Kanishka Aswal and Avisha Agarwal. Pari Jain and Jayshree Patel, Mahek Jain and Malyena Singh shared the school’s annual report of the last session. This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony.
The students who made the best performances were recognized with awards and certificates. In excellence award category, Arushi Kuntal and Mahima Goyal were selected in NEET (In Medical College). Yash Munjal and Aditya Vishal were selected in BITS Pilani and IIT Delhi and also cleared in KVPY.
On the other hand student of the year, award was earned by Kanishka Aswal, while the Eklavya award, which recognizes excellence in sports, was received by Mohit Verma. Palak Batra won the Ramanujan award, for the best student in Maths, while Harsh Sharma claimed the Picasso award.
The theme for the function this year was based on the famous novel "The Alchemist,” written by Paulo Coelho. The book traces the life of a boy named Santiago, a shepherd who has a dream and the courage to follow it. The students and staff had a great time reliving the novel’s key moments and relishing its Arabic culture. While winding its way through the tales of brave hearts, witchcraft and the lives of the inhabitants of the desert, the Alchemist makes commentaries about the meaning of life.
The event also included high-spirited presentations, lively dances and stunning costumes that brought the show to life. The bright and energetic performances kept the onlookers spellbound. The principal message of the show is the importance of being yourself - of not being afraid to fail, overcoming fear and following your own unique path.
The evening depicted the shining talent of the students and was a delightful experience for everyone present. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.
On the occasion of children day St Edmunds Nursery School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated its annual function in the School premises. The programme began with the welcoming of the honourable chief guest, Mr Hari Dutt Kalla Ji, director cum resource person (Music and dance department Jawahar Kala Kendra).
The programme commenced with garlanding of Lord Ganesha with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and gave a tribute to School founder Late Shri Ranbir Singh Ji by Hon’ble chief guest.
The programme was anchored by school students Kriti Gupta and Aastha Sharma in a marvellous manner, Divyanshi Rajpal presented the annual report in which the annual progress of the educational and co-educational activities of the children of pre-primary was done through PPT.
Students were awarded trophies based on their talent in which Excellence in academics (nursery) was grabbed by Rahman Ahmed, Ananya Chaudhary and Rudransh Sharma. In Junior KG Divya Sukhlani,Dakshita and Tanushree and In Senior KG Srishti Patel, Mohd Azan and Akansha Choudhary were awarded the by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Joint director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia.
The show took its pace and took everyone on a magical ride when little tots danced and grooved on the stage presenting the Ganesh Vandana.
Students staged a musical tale 'coco' of a boy who admires music and melodies and pursues his dream with the brave little heart and wins the uncountable hearts with his contagious voice and charm.
