Students made eco-friendly Ganesh Ji idols to stay away from materials that are harmful to the environment. These idols are not only eco-friendly but can even be used to grow plants after mixing with soil.

St. Edmunds, Jawahar Nagar in collaboration with MNIT-MIIC(Malviya Innovation and Incubation Centre) organized an entrepreneurial challenge “The young Innovators Hunt”, Season III a two-day event on 22 and 23 Aug19. The competition gave students the opportunity to conceive, realize, promote, nurture, and showcase their knowledge-based innovation and entrepreneurial talent. On the first day of the event, about 150 students from 22 schools in Jaipur competed in teams to advance to the next round. From this group, Ten teams were selected on the basis of the quality of their ideas by an expert panel. We are proud to announce that two of the teams from St. Edmund’s School that participated in the competition were chosen in the final round and one team including Dhruv Mittal, Jayesh Kalra and Janesh Balchandani achieved the third position. The teams were mentored by Kapil Singh (Deputy Director) and benefitted from the guidance of Dr.Amit Kumar Rawtani(HOD Chemistry) and Jai Kishan Rawtani(HOD Physics & International Counsellor). As a result of their selection, the team from St. Edmund’s School received a cash prize of Rs 5000/- and will have the opportunity to incubate their ideas at the MIIC. With the aid of these resources, the students will be able to turn their ideas into reality.

An Inter-School Group Dance Competition was organized by St Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar. Many schools including Campus,Seedling nursery,Kidzee,Kids pride participated.
The tiny tots dressed up as Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional costumes. The stage became lightened up when students of different schools staged noticeable dances in the competition.
The graceful dancers of kindergarten gave a mesmerising performance on the theme “Let's praise Kanha” where they depicted the various phases of Lord Krishna’s life left everyone spellbound.
Sri Raghuveera Dasa(Youth Mentor) and Sri Sidha Swarupa Das(Head cultural education services), The Akshaya Patra foundation were the judges on the occasion. Attractive costumes, different dance movements and fascinating props made it difficult for judges to declare the winner. Kidzee bagged the first prize and St Edmund’s Schol Jawahar Nagar bagged the second prize while Kids pride stood third.

On Tuesday 20th August 2019, Bimbawati Devi, the daughter of esteemed classical Manipuri dancer and dance exponents Guru Bipin Singh and Guru Kalavati Devi, performed in St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar in association with Spic Macay. Bimbawati Devi, after receiving her training at a very young age from her father went on to perform around the world in countries like USA, UK, Canada, Singapore and Australia, where her performance received critical acclaim.
Bimbawati Devi, the winner of various national and international awards was invited to perform in St Edmund’s to widen the horizons of young minds and cultivate an interest in the direction of various national art forms(Manipuri dance).
The presentation started with Ganesh Vandana followed by a series of performances like Ghana bari barikhata, Pung (Manipuri Mridang) Thang-Ta, Radha’s Roop Varnan and Tandava movements and Cholom Tandava movements beautifully mingling one with the other. It developed a sense of pride for the country’s innate art forms developed wholly in the country. The students experienced an international level performance full of intricate music and artistic style and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a splendid show that kept the audience spellbound throughout the performance.The programme was well anchored by the head of hindi department Ms Sharda Sharma.

St. Edmund ’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated 72nd Independence day and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighter.
The celebration began in the school premises with the unfurling of the National flag followed by a speech with patriotic zeal and fervour.
Tiny tots of the pre-primary classes held a musical presentation of patriotic songs. The occasion concluded with the National Anthem, Vande Mataram, evoking the feeling of patriotism among all present.
Our School Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia emphasised the need for self-discipline along with freedom and liberty as essential ingredients for the countries’ growth and development.
