We are extremely honoured to announce that St.Edmund’s school, Jawahar Nagar received the most prestigious Green row award from Centre for science and environment at the Award ceremony held in New Delhi. The school is the only one all over Rajasthan to be bestowed with this award. It was received by school Deputy Director Mr.Kapil Singh and Joint Director Dr.Mrs.Pooja Singh. This outstanding achievement is the continuous and enthusiastic involvement of students and staff in Green practices. The School has been rated green since the year 2016 on the basis of regular participation in waste management activities, cleanliness, plantations drives and many more activities. This multidisciplinary approach towards the environment is helping the students to develop a sensitivity towards the environment, community and society. School is also a recognised mentor by CSE and last year around 50 local schools had an orientation session towards green school audit program and hence became the pioneer in spreading awareness.

We congratulate Purva Sharma, Pari Jain and Divyanshu Agarwal of standard XI, The students of St. Edmunds School Jawahar Nagar, willingly volunteered in The Jaipur Literature Festival, or JLF is an annual literary festival which takes place in the Indian city of Jaipur each January. It is the world's largest free literary festival. Around 300 speakers were present at the Festival. The students got the chance to meet such famous personalities like Dia Mirza, Manish Malhotra, Sachin Pilot, Åsne Seierstad, Abhijit Bannerji and many more famous personalities.

They also shared their experience that it was a great opportunity for them as people came from various countries so it is a platform to interact with people and they got the opportunity to work with a wonderful team from different part of the globe. Being a volunteer in JLF has enhanced their confidence and boost up the strength and at this very young age they were felicitated by the team of The Jaipur Literature Festival, and also received goodies from the team.

School Director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia congratulated and motivated them to participate in more and more such prestigious events and wished them good luck for future endeavours.

We congratulate Gautam Kachhawa, Haider Ali Noman and Meghna Jagwani of Std VIII C and Purva Sharma, Malyena Sing Budania and Madhu Rai of Std XI humanities for being felicitated by WSSO and Times of India for winning best paintings award on water conservation.

Naman Sharma, a class XI student of St Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar won a Bronze medal in Asian Muaythai championship organized by UAE government and Asian Olympic at Abu Dhabi.

On 20th December 2019, St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar organised Annual Sports event in Rajasthan University Sports Complex under the Fit India Campaign “Body fit, mind hit” for the students to showcase their athletic abilities, self-confidence and winning spirit.
The event commenced with the School director Mr Sudhir Singh, joint director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia welcoming the esteemed chief guest Mr Ram Chandra Pilaniya who is a district Education Officer (Shiksha Sankul).
To officially inaugurate the sports meet, The flag was hosted by Mr Ram Chandra Pilaniya along with other dignitaries.
After the flag hosting, a comprehensive March past was done by the students of the four distinctive houses of Edmund’s family, Shaurya ,Parakram Veer and Shakti, illuminating the place with their passion, energy, intensity and elegance. The synchronized swing of arms and the sound of the thudding feet resonated in the hearts of each person present.
The students showed the union among their hearts, mind and soul, through the yoga exercise, followed by the field dance. The scan fitness program, which aims at enhancing the health and nutrition in students gave a majestic performance.
After the beautiful melody of the school Edmund song, the sports activities began.
The match of the primary section was a delight to watch, and the tiny tots made all the possible effort to win. The Kho Kho ended in the victory of parakram house, while in the cricket match veer house emerged victoriously.

After that, the middle section organised chess, carrom, seven stones, Kho kho and Kabaddi in which parakram,shakti and veer house grabbed the gold medal.
Then, the intense races i.e 100m,200m, Long jump etc...In drag the ball race veer house, rope skipping shaurya house, relay race shakti house emerged as winners.
The overall winning trophy was grabbed by Shaurya house.
Finally, there was a prize distribution, where the winners were congratulated and praised for their competence, abilities and the teamwork.
School Joint director Dr Pooja Singh emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life. The sports meet concluded with a vote of thanks and singing of National Anthem.
