We congratulate Diksha Meena, Aastha Sharma, Kriti Gupta of standard XI & Aparna Jha and Kritika Toliya of standard X, The students of St. Edmunds School Jawahar Nagar, who willingly volunteered in The Jaipur Literature Festival, or JLF which is an annual literary festival that takes place in the Indian city of Jaipur. However this time Jaipur Literature Festival returns on the ground after 2 years with scintillating music & keynote speakers. It is the world's largest literary festival. Around 250 speakers were present at the Festival. The students got the chance to meet such famous personalities like Sanjoy Roy: The man behind Jaipur Literature Festival, Smriti Irani - Minister of Women and Child Development of India, Shashi Tharoor, Manish Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee , Sagarika Ghose, Naushad D Forbes - Author of “The struggle and the promise”, Divita Agarwal & Surabhi Sundaram and many more famous personalities.
They also shared their experience that it was a great opportunity for them as people came from various countries so it is a platform to interact with people and they got the opportunity to work with a wonderful team from different parts of the globe. Being a volunteer in JLF has enhanced their confidence and boosted their strength and at this very young age they were felicitated by the team of The Jaipur Literature Festival, and also received goodies from the team.
School Joint Director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia congratulated and motivated them to participate in more and more such prestigious events and wished them good luck for future endeavours.

St Edmund’s Jawahar Nagar organised a virtual session for students of grade IX-XII on Design thinking . The session was presided by Dr Saji Varghese,Assosiate professor in the Department of English, Christ University Bangalore.
Mr Vargeese taught the various aspects of design thinking through multiple examples that required the students to spark creative ideas.He also shared his experience of how his team worked on making the straws & pens from naturally dried fallen coconut leaves.The workshop was very informative & helped the students to understand better how to design a solution to any given problem.

School management thanked for the wonderful session that will help the aspiring students to further their skill set in Design thinking.

Honi Arora, a class X student of St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar brought laurels to the school by grabbing 7th position & Cash prize of Rs 1000/- in-state senior chess championship tournament 2022, organised by Jaipur district chess association. This event was a special milestone for all the chess masters present there competing with each other.

Tanisha Ghai and Shubham Kumar of class IV of St. Edmund's School, Jawahar Nagar participated in National Coding Olympiad 2021(Codingal). The project was to create a game using the jungle as background. It enhanced the coding skills & proficiency among the students. It offered hands-on learning & improved their online coding skills.

It’s a proud moment for our school to announce that Tanisha Ghai secured 5th position out of 514 projects submissions from all over India.
It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to perform under the guidance of our computer teacher Mrs Anju Wadhawan.

Our Respected Joint Director Dr Pooja Singh, gave gratitude to the entire team and told the students about the unprecedented opportunities that lie ahead of them through coding.

To instil the values of justice, equality, liberty and fraternity among our children and to make them aware of their rights and duties St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated Constitution day and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

The students participated in the quiz & took the pledge to abide by the constitution & adhere to the duties & responsibilities of responsible citizens.
