Community service programme

On Monday, July 15, St. Edmunds School, Jawahar Nagar Jaipur hosted a discussion on the topic of sensitivity towards the more vulnerable sections of society. Students from RAJKIYA UCH MADHYAMIC SANSKRIT VIDYALAYA(our adopted government school) were asked questions about their lives, their aspirations and other questions related to their studies. The whole school also sang melodies and learned to play instruments. The Edmundites organized activities for their students from the government school, like pebble painting, short quiz and others.

45th School Foundation Day

St. Edmund’s school Jawahar Nagar Jaipur celebrated 45th foundation day. On this auspicious occasion Director, Dr Sudhir Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia paid tribute to Late Ranbir Singh ji (the founder of St. Edmund’s) by garlanding his portrait. Edmundities organized a special assembly in which they got a chance to reflect not only the beginnings of the school but also on the significant development since the school inception.
It has been a milestone in the journey of the school which has grown from humble beginnings to its eminent stature today.

Exchange of ideas

St.Edmunds has created its own niche to work at international level. French HOD Dr.Dolly Setia visited Wellington school, Scotland (one of the international partner school). She experienced their working on digital education and discussed audio-visual books, Chromebooks and the use of Google classrooms. Dr Setia also shared different ways which St.Edmunds is continuously following to make the environment paperless and eco-friendly.Mrs.Susan Coontz the international coordinator also shared impressive ideas to enhance learning french language.

World Environment Day

To raise awareness within the young generation about the importance of environmental protection, St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated World Environment Day. Students and staff participated in plantation drives to make their surrounding green. World Environment Day aims to encourage actions, like these, to protect the environment.
To add more colour to the day, Students enjoyed a parachute making activity, which also taught them the importance of the three P's - Protect, Preserve and Promote 'Mother earth'.

CBSE Business Studies workshop on OTQ's

Central Board of Secondary Education has organized a workshop for enhancing teachers knowledge towards a typology of questions, framing Objective type questions and to develop uniformity of mindset in teaching and matching it with CBSE curriculum of Business Studies at St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar.
Teachers from the various school participated in the workshop. It was a training workshop for deepening teachers’ knowledge of the intriguing subject.

KVPY Jaipur City Topper

St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar is proud to announce that Ashutosh Sharma is Jaipur City topper in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna examination(KVPY), a National scholarship exam conducted by II Sc, Bangalore initiative to encourage students to take up careers in the Sciences. He is entitled to a scholarship of 80,000/-Pa.
School Joint Director Dr. Pooja Singh Congratulated him for his sheer hard work and dedication.
