Children's day Celebration

St Edmunds School, Jawahar Nagar, in memory of India's first Prime Minister Shree Jawaharlal Nehru, celebrated children's day on 14 Nov 2018. In honor of this auspicious occasion, the school organised an inter-house competition.The theme for the contest for the primary section was "baachpan" and for middle section was" nai soch- modern India" The magical voice of students created a warm and melodious atmosphere. The judges of the vocal group were left stunned by the students' breathtaking performances.

Annual function 2018 "Rangeelo Rajasthan"

St.Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated its annual function with great vibrancy and cheer, on Friday, 02 Nov 2018 at Ravindra Manch open theatre. The annual function was presided over by Mr Ashok Parnami MLA, former president BJP. Other dignitaries present, including Mr Kailash Chaturvedi (renowned educationist & Head of Rajasthan Patrika publication), Mrs Suman Dalela and Mrs Amrita Mathur (Former Staff members of St Edmund’s School), were felicitated.

Mask Making Competition

St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar’s pre-primary wing students showcased their artistic talent by taking part in a mask making competition on 27th October 2018. The students were asked to make masks depicting their favourite cartoon characters. The students greatly enjoyed participated in the activity, which gave them an opportunity to widen their imagination and to develop and strengthen their creative skills.
The School Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia complimented the students on their hard work and creativity.

The Erasmus Project

Mr JaiKishan Rawtani from St Edmund’s School was invited to Ayr, Scotland to deliver a lecture on the topic of teaching Physics in India, as part of this year’s Erasmus Project conference.

Dussehra Celebration

Tiny tots of St Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, Pre-primary wing celebrated Dussehra on 16th October 2018. The festivities were filled with great enthusiasm in the presence of their parents. The little ones were dressed up in their best, like Ram, Lakshman, Sita, Ravan and Durga. The school was decorated very well covering each and every moment that Rama had encountered in his life. To mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt.

Economics workshop

St Edmunds Jawahar Nagar organized Economics workshop on 9th October in association with True friend publication. Teachers from various schools participated in the Economics workshop. The session was addressed by the eminent speaker and scholar Sh. J.P.Goel Associate professor, Head of the Department of Economics, Hindu post-graduate college Sonipat Haryana. (Apart from a prof. he is also a former member of “Economics Studies” at Maharishi Dayanand University).

Rang De Jaipur

Students from St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur had participated in this year “Rang de Jaipur”. The event, which was organized by Let's Contree, an NGO that promotes and organizes community service projects, took place from 29 September -2 October 2018 at Jaipur Junction.

Nineteen Edmundities exhibited their innovative ideas through their artwork on the event’s theme -sports & active citizens along with 300 volunteers and 140 artists.

Appreciation Certificate from NASA

2018 Space Settlement Design Contest

Two students from St. Edmund’s school participated in an annual completion hosted by NASA Ames research center to brainstorm innovative ideas about space settlement and extraterrestrial life.
The two students Divyanshu Jhamtani and Kashish Jhamtani mentored by Mr JK Rawtani(HOD Physics)and Mrs Marudhara Avasthi created a list of criteria necessary for life to exist on another planet, for example, the students mentioned that gravity, water and gaseous atmosphere are prerequisites for life.

Felicitation Ceremony

This Teacher’s Day, the Konark Teacher’s Society presented Deputy Director Mr Kapil Singh and Joint Director Dr Pooja Singh with awards for innovative teaching, in recognition of the excellent work they have done at St. Edmund’s School.
We at St. Edmund’s are extremely grateful for the work Mr Kapil Singh and Dr Pooja Singh have done, and continue to do, to enrich the academic lives of their students. We feel very fortunate to have them as our mentors. Their efforts have raised the school to new heights and enhanced its national and international reputation.
