School Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia attended an international Conference "UCAPE" in UK

St. Edmunds School, Jawahar Nagar has been actively participating in international projects. School Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia has attended an international Conference "UCAPE" hosted by Wellington School, Ayr Scotland. More than 80 delegates from different countries have participated in this conference. The main objective was to learn, share and collaborate with each other's perspective and to exchange the project ideas. It has been a wonderful platform for developing links regarding international exchange. This would help St. Edmunds to set its own paradigm at an international level.

Students bring Laurel in CBSE Clusters West Zone Boxing championship

Students of St' Edmund's School Jawahar Nagar, got selected in CBSE Nationals, Mohit Verma, class 12 and Naman Sharma, class 11 for winning a Gold and a bronze medal respectively in U-19 CBSE Clusters West Zone Boxing championship.
The school's joint director Dr Pooja Singh and Principal Mrs Anu Bhatia congratulated Students for this magnificent achievement.

Cleanliness Campaign

To support the cleanliness campaign, students of St. Edmunds School, Jawahar Nagar have volunteered a swachhta project in collaboration with "Contree" an organisation run by youth. Under this initiative, a team of more than 50 students have done the cleaning in Dushera maidan, Jaipur. This enthusiastic participation has helped them to contribute in swachhta abhiyaan and to become an aware citizen.

Educational Trip to Sariska - Pandupole

The students from grade 5 to 12th were taken on an educational trip to SARISKA - PANDUPOLE. In the cradle of nature, the children delved into the vastness of its beauty and gifts. they enjoyed a lot and also learned about the places. Sariska National Park is a tiger reserve in Alwar district. It stretches over an area of 866 km2 comprising scrub-thorn arid forests, dry deciduous forests, grasslands, and rocky hills whereas Pandupole has an ancient mythical connotation attached to it.

Dussehra Celebration

The students of Pre-primary dressed up in various characters of Ramayan to celebrate the Dussehra through Jhanki. The primary objective of the entire show was to convince the students that no matter how intelligent a person is, his pride will be the reason for his collapse. They were informed that Ravana was basically very intelligent. His knowledge was equal to the knowledge of ten heads. His ten heads are symbolic of his great wisdom. They were intimated how his single mistake overpowered and nullified his entire wisdom.

Exchange program on Dravyati River and Mahanadi

The students visited N.H Goel school, Raipur in an Exchange program on Dravyati River and Mahanadi where the students learned about the Dravyati River which is known as Amanishah Nallah whereas Mahanadi is a major river in East Central India. The exchange program was successful and the Students closely observed the dynamics of the Project and discussed with the team.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Celebrating 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Students of Pre-primary had Special Assembly and cake cutting ceremony, whereas the students of primary section express their love for Gandhi Ji by drawing beautiful pictures using their vivid imagination they also draw posters on "Clean India Green India".

Happy Classrooms

The Central Board of Secondary Education organized a Master training programme on “Happy Classrooms” at St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar. More than 85 principals, Vice principals and faculty members of esteemed institutions from all over India participated.
Dr Monika Mehan, Principal (Principal ML Khanna DAV Public School Delhi) and Prof Rishi Pal(Prof. of pedagogy dean humanities& elite sciences in Shri Vishwakarma skill university Haryana) were the resource persons for the workshop.

State Topper

Krishna Soni of class 4 of St. Edmunds School, Jawahar Nagar, made the school proud by achieving the top position in the Abacus Arithmetic Competition organized by Sankhya Abacus. The competition was attended by around 750 students from Jaipur and other districts like Alwar and Bikaner.

Reflection International 2019

Students of St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar were given the opportunity to display their talents in Reflections International 2019 organised in association with City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow. Seventy teams from various countries including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal participated in the competition in which they learned about other countries, shared their own culture and national heritage and exchanged ideas.
