14 Geofest International 2017
The students of Saint Edmund’s school, Jawahar nagar, participated in “Geofest International, 2017”organized by CMS school, Lucknow. The event was held between 4th Nov 2017 and 7th Nov 2017.It was a mega event as 76 teams from all over India and other countries participated. The single most entry from Rajasthan was of our school.
It’s a proud moment for our school to announce that two of our students Divyanshi Rajpal and Kanishka Saini stood 3rd in the best out of waste collage making activity.
St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, organized a friendly basketball match with Saint Dominique institute France who have arrived here for cultural Exchange programme and St. Edmund’s school, Jawahar Nagar.
Students from both the school played passionately and showed brilliant dribbling skills and gave a tough fight to their opponents. However, in a close contest, the St Edmunds won the match. This event was a part of an ongoing cultural exchange programme between the two schools.
St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur took a wonderful step towards its involvement in the campaign taken as an initiative by Ministry of Environment, forest and climate change on 10 Oct17.
On the occasion school director Mr. Sudhir Singh addressed the school assembly and motivated the students to take a pledge to keep our country clean and pollution free under the campaign “Be the change, create a Behtar India”.

To mark the victory of good over evil and to reinforce the message that good always trimphs over evil,the effigy of Ravana was burnt.
St. Edmund’s School Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur took a wonderful initiative to celebrate “World Ozone day “on 16September17.
The students participated in various amazing activities conducted by “The Times of India”. The students made beautiful caps having thought provoking slogans and quotations on it. The students participated in slogan making and poetry composition as well. The students were given a golden opportunity to present their thoughts on the topic “Conserving ozone layer”.
They played with brushes and smeared the white canvases with a spectrum of colours. It gave vent to their imagination and expression. The artists of St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur poured out their creativity and talent at the art exhibition held at Jawahar Kala Kendra. The two-day exhibition commenced on 9th Sept and will continue till 10th Sept 2017. It was inaugurated by Mr. Ashwin Dalvi Chairman, Raj LalitKala Akademi. Other dignitaries to visit the exhibition were Prof. Amit Kalla (Artist & Poet), Mr. Hansraj (Sculptor) and Mr. K.K.Kundra Caricature Artist.
The students of St. Edmund’s school Jawahar Nagar pre primary wing celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great pomp and gaiety. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. The festival is also known as vinayaka chaturthi or Ganeshotsav.
The session started with a traditional lamp lighting and aarthi. Children showcased dances, songs and skits depicting the importance of Lord Vinayaka.
