Travel expands your horizons and school life cannot be complete without the fun of educational tours and excursions. Keeping this in mind a 4-day educational tour was organised by St. Edmund’s school Jawahar Nagar, during which the students visited Amritsar and Dharamshala. The students enthusiastically participated in the Atari border retreat ceremony. After that, they visited the golden temple, and Jallianwala Bagh to pay homage to the innocent ones killed during the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Students learned about various historical, religious and cultural values.
The next day the group went to Mcloedganj where the students first visited Bhagsu waterfall for an evening trek that was a blissful experience for everyone. On the last day of the trip a bonfire party was organised, that was utterly enjoyed by the students, staff, and teachers.
All in all, it was a perfect blend of fun and learning and a very enriching experience for all the student.
