The Primary students of St Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar celebrated the festival of Dussehra with great zeal and festive spirit. The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant presentation of Ramleela, where the little learners enacted the legendary tale of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana, symbolizing the eternal triumph of good over evil.
Dressed in colourful and traditional costumes, the children took on the roles of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Hanuman, and Ravana with remarkable confidence. Their spirited performance and expressive dialogues left the audience spellbound, while also instilling the values of truth, righteousness, and courage.
The event not only provided an opportunity for the students to showcase their talent but also served as a meaningful reminder of India’s rich cultural heritage. The celebration concluded with the message that no matter how powerful evil may seem, it is goodness and virtue that always prevail.
