St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, marked its glorious 50th Foundation Day with unmatched enthusiasm, pride, and a spirit of international camaraderie. The momentous occasion was further elevated by the gracious presence of the school’s esteemed global partners from Wellington School, Scotland.
To infuse an international spirit into the celebration, the school proudly welcomed distinguished guests — Headmaster Mr. Simon, Assistant Head Mr. Allistair, and International Coordinator Ms. Susan Coontz, accompanied by a group of students from Scotland. Their presence not only honoured the event but also reaffirmed the enduring partnership between the two institutions, built on shared values of friendship, cultural exchange, and holistic learning.
As part of the cross-cultural engagement, students embarked on an insightful visit to the traditional Blue Pottery Store and Industry, where they explored Jaipur’s rich craft heritage. The delegation also visited Mahatma Gandhi Government School, adopted by St. Edmund’s under its social responsibility initiative, gaining a deeper understanding of community-driven education in India.
This Foundation Day celebration was not only a reflection of the school’s five decades of excellence but also a step towards nurturing globally aware and socially responsible students.
