The result has been announced of both XII and X class Boards. And just like last year and last to last year the students have outshone in numbers. Categorically, the science stream has done fairly well with the highest ranking going up to 90%. The school toppers from the stream are Yatin Gangwani, Kiran Karol and Rakshit Singhal. And then there are others who have performed well in the subjects of their choice like the highest in Maths being 99, in Physics and Chemistry 95 and Biology 90. And, not to forget, 5 selections in IIT were confirmed this year.

The commerce students are also not far behind. The stream toppers are Vishakha Arora, Kunal Bhatia and Deepak Tibdewal. The subject wise performance has also been a landmark. The highest in accountancy and Business Studies were 95 secured by more than 15 students, Informatics Practices 91 and Economics 84.

As for the X std. results, the students have done remarkably well on the 10 point scale. They have secured as much as 9.8 secured by Riddhima Ojha, 9.6 by Richa Khandelwal and 9.4 by Sumit Mansinghani and even 9.2 by Riya Jain. These students and their parents’ really deserve applause.

When we talk of the result, we always expect it to get better by next year. However we forget that many a times there are changes made externally or for improvisation which affect students’ performances. The conceptual change in paper pattern proved difficult for most of the students. Though the improvisation has been made for the good however students studying in the same old manner suffered. Whereas, the grading system has proved to be a boon for many students in class X. At one point where there were students securing complete 10 on this scale, there were also students who wanted to know how they have actually performed in the exams (i.e the marks).
